Uniting the World, one person at a time...

Equal People Organization works towards the fair and just treatment of all people regardless of their disabilities, ethnicity, gender, income, race, religion, sexual orientation, or social status. Through education, service, and direct interaction - we stand to nurture acceptance, understanding, and respect for diversity in order to create more promising futures.

Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.

Together, we can unite the world.

DADT Repeal - Join EPO in Thanking NC Senators PDF Print E-mail
On behalf of Equal People Organization, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to both North Carolina Senators Richard Burr and Kay Hagan for their votes to end the military's "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" (DADT) policy.

DADT BannerSince its implementation in 1994, more than 13,500 gay and lesbian soldiers were discharged under this discriminatory policy. Earlier this year, Equal People Organization worked with local volunteers in the “Stand with Honor” Campaign to collect toy soldiers representing these brave American's who were denied a chance to serve their country. 13,500 toy soldiers along with hundreds of personalized post-cards and letters were hand delivered to both Senators Burr and Hagan calling for an end to this policy of legalized discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) service members.

The NEW Equal People Organization PDF Print E-mail

Ten years ago, EqualPeople.Org made its presence known on the World Wide Web.  After years of providing one of the most interactive sites fighting for Human Rights, Equal People Organization (EPO) gained the attention of hate-groups which led to hackers removing the site from the Internet.  While the website may have disappeared, the efforts and hopes of EPO remained strong.  Equal People Organization has existed, and will continue to exist until all walks of life are treated as equals, and diversity is not only accepted - but celebrated.

Equal People Organization was first developed as a small online community in December of 1998, and continues to grow throughout the Internet and within local communities.  Being fueled by the ideals of tolerance and equality, EPO continues to work towards supporting the fair and just treatment of all people regardless of their disability, ethnicity, gender, income, race, religion, sexual orientation, or social status.  Through education, service, and interaction Equal People Organization stands to nurture acceptance, understanding, and respect for diversity in order to create more promising futures for individuals and their communities.

By supporting the idea of diversity, Equal People has taken a stand within Human and Civil Rights.  By taking a stand with other individuals, companies, and organizations we will continue to work towards these goals and philosophies.

The website of EqualPeople.Org has been created as a tool in order to offer information and services to people in local communities as well as on a global level.  By providing and supporting programs working towards Human Rights, Equal People Organization hopes to expand on every level, while keeping an individualized focus.  By working in local communities, schools, organizations, and with other groups, both local and global communities shall form and strengthen.

Silence is Acceptance.  It's Time to Speak Up!
